Get in touch
The World Counts is made by Karsten Bjerring Olsen, Esben Larsen, and Sascha Engel in Copenhagen, Denmark. The easiest way to reach us is by email at yes@theworldcounts.com.
We read everything that arrives, though we can’t always answer quickly.
What helps
If you think a number is wrong, send a link to the page and, if you have one, the source you think we should be using. Corrections are especially welcome, and we fix mistakes when we find them.
If there is something you think we should be counting, tell us what it is and why it matters to you. And if something here made you stop and think about your own life, we would like to hear about that too, because that is what the site is for.
Teachers, journalists and anyone else who wants to use our numbers are welcome to write too. Most of what we publish comes from public sources, and we’re happy to point you to them.
And lastly, we would love feedback on how we can improve, ideas you might have that could make the site better, and so on. So don’t hold yourself back.
